Long before the trend of skateboarding gear there was another fashion statement made by the gals in the Roller Derby. Roller Derby Outfits were as loud and interesting as the personalities that wore them. Amateur Roller Derby Teams may have more latitude and opt for a look that varies yet encompasses the team colors. It would be beyond freaking awesome if a Roller Derby team took some influences from J-roc, J-pop and even from anime cosplays! It would be sick! But at the same time, the person has to be comfortable without being too eccentric.
If you are just in it for fun then outfits would not much do much since you aren’t going to compete in any tournament. I think that outfit would comfort but it doesn’t’ mean tat it is a must for anyone playing roller derby.
Hey this is a great idea for Halloween — going as a Roller Derby Babe! That has promise. :} At any rate, I do like variety. Of course, teams have to be the same, but individuals can have some spice and change to their attire.
May be we should consider this. Having a uniform seems to be an in idea. I would love to have each of our names engraved in the back of the T shirt we would design just like the football sportsmen. I always loved the way it felt.

That would be sure fun but I don’t think that it would scare any guy off the streets since divas are supposed to be beautiful. Still it would be a great laugh but people would be laughing at you and not the costume.
